Coaching with heart, strategy, and real-life impact.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process that helps you gain clarity, overcome obstacles, and take meaningful action toward the life you want. It's not therapy or counseling, it's about moving forward with intention, support, and real-world strategies.
Who do you work with?
I work with people from all walks of life, professionals, parents, creatives, students, entrepreneurs, anyone who is ready to grow, shift perspective, or create change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, navigating a transition, or seeking more fulfillment, coaching can help.
What can I expect from a session?
Each session is tailored to you. We'll explore your goals, identify challenges, and develop practical steps to move forward. You’ll leave each session with insight, motivation, and clear action steps to support your growth.
What is a chemistry session?
A chemistry session is a chance for us to connect and see if we’re the right fit to work together. It’s an informal, no-pressure conversation where you can share what’s bringing you to coaching, ask any questions you have about how I work, and get a feel for my style and approach.
It’s also a space for me to get to know a bit more about you, where you’re at, what you’re hoping for, and how I might best support you. Coaching is a deeply personal process, and the relationship we build is foundational to its success. This session helps us both make sure it feels like a good match before we take the next step.
Is coaching confidential?
Absolutely. Everything you share with me during our sessions is held in the strictest confidence. I am committed to creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you can speak freely and honestly. I adhere to the ethical standards and guidelines set out by both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa). These codes of ethics outline clear principles around privacy, trust, and professional conduct, and I uphold them in every aspect of my work. There are only very rare exceptions to confidentiality, for example, if there is a legal obligation or if there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. If that were ever the case, I would always aim to discuss it with you first. Trust is foundational in coaching, and I honour that trust with great care and integrity.
What areas of life can coaching help with?
Coaching can support you in many areas, including career decisions, relationships, confidence, mindset, time management, goal setting, stress, personal growth, and life transitions. It’s about helping you thrive in the areas that matter most to you.
What if I don’t know what I seek yet?
That’s completely okay, in fact, it’s a very natural place to start. You don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to coaching. Part of the coaching journey is creating the space to explore what matters most to you, what you value, and what might be getting in the way of clarity. I’ll walk alongside you as we unpack what’s going on beneath the surface and together, we’ll begin to surface the answers. Sometimes the biggest shifts come from simply giving yourself permission to pause and reflect. You don’t need a perfect plan, just a willingness to begin.
Is coaching only for people going through a hard time?
Not at all. While coaching can be incredibly supportive during challenging seasons, it’s just as valuable when things are going well, especially if you’re feeling ready to grow, stretch, or create something new. Clients come to coaching for all kinds of reasons: navigating change, stepping into leadership, finding more meaning and purpose, or simply wanting to live more intentionally. Coaching offers a space to reflect, gain clarity, and move forward with greater self-awareness and alignment, whether you're rebuilding, realigning, or ready to expand into your next chapter. So whether you're feeling stuck, striving, or seeking, coaching meets you where you are, and supports you in becoming the author of where you want to go.
“Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”
